Terms & Conditions of Sale – Amris Living Ltd

1. About Us

Amris Living Ltd is a company registered in England and Wales under company number
16600127, with our registered address at Hamlet, Parkhouse Farm, The Common, WF12
0LJ, United Kingdom.

2. Formation of Contract

Your contract with us begins once you receive confirmation of your order via email or once
you provide an e-signature through our proposal platform.

If you wish to amend your order, including delivery arrangements, contact us as soon as
possible—changes may result in delivery delays.

Ordering the same item more than once may result in slight variations (e.g., colour, batch),
and we cannot guarantee exact consistency across multiple orders.

 

3. Prices and Payment

- The price for our products or services, including any relevant delivery fees, will be clearly
stated in your invoice, proposal, or order confirmation.

- All items and consultation services must be paid for in full at the time of ordering.

- Ownership of products remains with us until we receive full payment, including any
applicable delivery costs.

 

4. Cancelling an Order

As per the Consumer Contracts Regulations, if you order via phone, email, or online, you can cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your items. This right excludes:

- Bespoke or custom-made products (e.g., specific dimensions, fabrics, or finishes)

- Perishable items

- Items unsealed and no longer suitable for return due to hygiene reasons

- Items that have been combined inseparably with other goods

- Clearance or ex-display items clearly marked as such

To cancel, email hello@amrisliving.com and state clearly that you’re exercising your right
under consumer cancellation laws.

Made-to-order items may only be cancelled within 3 working days of placing the order
unless otherwise stated.

Please handle goods with care—refunds may be reduced if items are returned with damage caused by excessive handling.

 

5. Delivery of Products

We work with reliable local delivery services. Delivery is typically Monday to Saturday
between 8am and 9pm for UK mainland addresses. Non-mainland and international
delivery options are limited and depend on courier availability.

If your order includes both furniture and smaller goods, you may receive them separately,
but you will not be charged extra for the split delivery.

Customers must be available during the quoted timeframe to receive delivery. If goods
cannot be delivered due to inaccessibility or no one being present, redelivery fees may
apply.

All customs duties and import taxes for non-UK deliveries are the customer’s responsibility.

 


6. Services Delivery

Any services (e.g., design consultations or installations) will be carried out during standard
business hours—Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm. Alternative times may be arranged with
reasonable notice.

Once the outlined scope of work is completed, the service is considered delivered.
Additional work outside the original agreement will be quoted separately.

 

7. Additional Delivery Fees

Additional charges may apply if:

- Delivery is more complex than disclosed (e.g., restricted access, parking limitations)

- The delivery address is changed at short notice

- Redelivery is needed due to no one being available to accept the goods

- Items do not fit into the intended space due to size/access restrictions
These charges must be paid either before redelivery or within 7 days of notification.

If delivery cannot be completed after two attempts due to these factors, a store credit will
be offered in place of a refund.

 

8. Delivery Delays


Delivery times are estimated. Occasionally, delays may occur due to circumstances beyond
our control (e.g., supplier issues or courier delays). We will inform you of any such delays as early as possible.

We consider a delay of up to 4 weeks beyond the estimated timeframe as reasonable.
Beyond this, we will assess each case individually. We are not responsible for any resulting
costs or inconveniences.

 

9. Upon Delivery

Please ensure someone is present to inspect and sign for your delivery. If you assign
someone else to receive it on your behalf, make sure they know what to check for and are
authorised to sign.

Any visible damage or issues should be reported to us within 24 hours of delivery.

 

10. Product Quality & Returns

If an item is clearly faulty or not as described, please notify us:

- Within 24 hours for obvious faults or missing parts

- Within 14 days for less apparent issues

Contact us at hello@amrisliving.com. We may arrange for items to be inspected, tested, or
collected for review.

If the goods are found to be faulty, you may receive a refund or replacement. Your statutory consumer rights remain unaffected.

 

11. Product Use and Care

All items are sold for domestic use unless explicitly stated otherwise. We exclude liability
for any issues arising from improper or commercial use. Please follow all care instructions
provided with your goods to ensure durability.

 

12. Our Team’s Role

Our customer service team is here to help, but we are not qualified to offer technical advice in areas like plumbing, electrics, carpentry, or installation. We recommend booking such services only after your products have arrived and been inspected.

 

13. Data Protection

By using our website or placing an order, you agree to our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.

We are committed to protecting your personal data and comply with the Data Protection
Act 2018.

Amris Living Ltd acts as the data controller and ensures that your personal information is
stored and processed securely.


14. General Terms

- We are not liable for delays or failures due to events outside our control (e.g., natural
disasters, supplier issues).

- If any term of these conditions is found invalid or unenforceable, the rest remain in effect.

- You may not transfer your rights under this agreement without our written consent.

- These terms are governed by English law and any disputes will be handled by the courts of England and Wales.


15. Website Use

You agree not to misuse our website. Prohibited activities include transmitting viruses,
hacking, spamming, or breaching copyright or intellectual property laws.
Breaching these terms may result in legal action under the Computer Misuse Act 1990.

 

16. Errors and Availability
While we strive to keep product information accurate, errors may occasionally occur. If a
pricing or product error affects your order, we’ll let you know promptly and offer a fair
resolution.
