Terms & Conditions of Sale – Amris Living

2. Placing an Order
A contract between you and Amris Living is formed once your order has been confirmed via email or accepted through our proposal system.
If you wish to amend your order, including delivery arrangements, please notify us as soon as possible. Changes may result in delays or additional charges.
Please note that where multiple items of the same product are ordered, slight variations in finish, tone, or fabric batch may occur due to manufacturing processes.
3. Pricing & Payment
All prices, including delivery charges where applicable, will be clearly outlined at the point of purchase.
- Full payment is required at the time of ordering unless otherwise agreed in writing
- All goods remain the property of Amris Living until payment has been received in full
4. Order Cancellations
For orders placed online, by phone, or via email, you have the right to cancel within 14 days of receiving your goods, in accordance with UK consumer regulations.
This right does not apply to:
- Made-to-order or bespoke items
- Items that have been used, altered, or are no longer in resalable condition
- Hygiene-sensitive goods once unsealed
- Clearance or ex-display items
For made-to-order items, cancellations must be requested within 3 working days of placing the order.
To cancel, please email hello@amrisliving.com clearly stating your request.
Returned goods must be handled with reasonable care. Refunds may be reduced if items show signs of use or damage beyond what is necessary for inspection.
5. Delivery
We partner with trusted delivery providers to ensure safe and efficient delivery.
- Deliveries are typically carried out Monday–Saturday between 8am–9pm
- Some orders may arrive in separate shipments where necessary
- Delivery timelines are estimates and not guaranteed
It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure access is suitable for delivery. If delivery cannot be completed due to access restrictions or absence, additional charges may apply.
For international orders, any customs duties or import taxes are the responsibility of the customer.
6. Delivery Conditions & Additional Charges
Additional fees may apply in circumstances including (but not limited to):
- Restricted access or undisclosed delivery challenges
- Changes to delivery address after dispatch
- Failed delivery attempts
- Items not fitting through access points
If delivery cannot be completed after two attempts due to such issues, a store credit may be issued in place of a refund.
7. Delivery Timeframes
While we aim to meet all estimated delivery times, delays may occur due to factors outside of our control, including supplier or courier disruptions.
Delays of up to 4 weeks beyond the estimated timeframe may be considered reasonable. Each case will be assessed individually beyond this period.
We are not liable for indirect losses caused by delays.
8. Upon Delivery
Customers (or their representatives) must inspect goods upon delivery.
Any visible damage, defects, or missing items must be reported within 24 hours of delivery.
Failure to report issues within this timeframe may affect the outcome of any claim.
9. Product Quality & Returns
If an item is faulty or not as described:
- Notify us within 24 hours for visible issues
- Notify us within 14 days for non-obvious faults
We may arrange inspection, collection, or testing of the item.
If a fault is confirmed, we will offer a repair, replacement, or refund in accordance with your statutory rights.
10. Product Use & Care
All products are intended for domestic use unless otherwise specified.
We are not responsible for damage caused by misuse, improper installation, or failure to follow care instructions.
11. Services (Design, Installation, etc.)
Any services provided by Amris Living will be delivered during standard working hours unless otherwise agreed.
Once the agreed scope of work is completed, the service is deemed fulfilled. Any additional work will be subject to further quotation.
12. Limitation of Advice
While our team is happy to assist, we do not provide professional advice relating to structural, electrical, or specialist installation matters.
We recommend arranging third-party services only after goods have been delivered and inspected.
13. Data Protection
We are committed to protecting your personal data in accordance with the Data Protection Act 2018.
By placing an order, you agree to our Privacy Policy and the handling of your data as outlined.
14. General Terms
- We are not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond our control
- If any provision is deemed unenforceable, the remaining terms remain valid
- These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales
15. Website Use
You agree not to misuse our website, including (but not limited to):
- Introducing malicious software
- Attempting unauthorised access
- Violating intellectual property rights
Breaches may result in legal action.
16. Errors & Availability
While we strive for accuracy, errors in pricing or product descriptions may occur.
If an error affects your order, we will contact you promptly and provide a suitable resolution.
